Key responsibilities include clinical assistance across restorative, endodontic and surgical procedures, radiographs, charting, infection control, and patient education.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental assistant certification (EFDA/EDDA) per state rules.
• CPR certification required.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Assist dentist during restorative, endodontic and surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment and materials.
• Maintain infection control and sterile environment.
• Perform expanded functions as allowed by state law (EFDA/EDDA).
• Take dental radiographs and conduct preliminary charting.
• Greet patients and provide post-treatment oral care instructions.
• Document treatments and manage patient records.
• Schedule appointments and manage dental supply inventory.
