Job summary

Coast Dental in the United States seeks a competent dental assistant to support dentists with clinical treatments and patient education. The role requires Expanded Duties Certificate and/or Radiography Certification upon hire or within 90 days of employment, and the ability to perform back-office procedures in a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification required or to be obtained.
• Radiography licensure required.
• Minimum of 1 year dental experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist in clinical procedures and treatments.
• Document/chart procedures and manage medical history and forms.
• Welcome and escort patients, schedule appointments and confirm visits.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and maintained.
• Explain insurance benefits and financial options to patients.
