Coast Dental is seeking a skilled dental assistant to support dentists with clinical procedures and patient education in a fast-paced Florida practice.

The ideal candidate holds EFDA certification with Florida RDA or CDA credentials, plus radiography licensure and at least one year of experience. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are essential for success at Coast Dental.

Qualificações

• EFDA certification required or within hire period.
• RDA license or CDA cert obtained before May 2009 for Florida.
• Radiography license required.
• Minimum 1 year dental experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in high-volume environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in clinical procedures and treatments.
• Learn and comply with OSHA laws and safety guidelines.
• Document/chart dental procedures per dentist's instructions.
• Welcome and escort patients in reception; schedule appointments.
• Explain insurance benefits and financial options to patients.
• Maintain operatories stocked with inventory; re-order when needed.
• Notify Office Manager of equipment failure or safety concerns.
• Attend morning huddles and regular office meetings.
• Adhere to uniform attire and basic personal hygiene standards.
• Attend continuing education and training seminars.
