Coast Dental is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to support dentists in clinical procedures, manage patient education, and maintain accurate medical records. The role requires Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification or eligibility for Florida RDA/CDA, plus radiography certification within 90 days of hire.

They must comply with OSHA and infection control standards. Responsibilities include assisting in treatments, scheduling, patient communication, and documenting procedures

Qualifications

• Expanded duties and radiography certifications required or to be obtained within 90 days.
• Experience with back-office dental procedures and patient education preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and infection control standards, MSDS, and safe disposal of biohazardous waste.

Responsabilités

• Assist dentist in clinical procedures and treatments.
• Document and chart procedures per dentist instructions and legal requirements.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; educate patients on dental health and treatment plans.
