Job summary

HealthNet in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support dentists with restorations, coronal polishing, fluoride applications, radiography, and patient care across multiple HealthNet sites.

The role requires a dental assisting background, radiology and CPR/BLS certifications, and the ability to travel between HealthNet locations. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatory and work area for treatment.
• Escort patients to clinical area and assist during care; including Expanded Function tasks.
• Perform placement and finishing of dental restorations; coronal polishing and fluoride application.
• Observe and communicate patient conditions with providers.
• Take x-rays and review health history.
• Perform dental lab functions as assigned.
• Assist dentist during anesthesia/sedation procedures.
• Maintain patient records and chart.
