Qualified candidates hold EFDA certification, radiology, and CPR credentials, with strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification/licensure required.
• Active radiology certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, restorative procedures, and infection control standards.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and help ensure a positive patient experience.
• Assist providers during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Take and process dental radiographs.
• Review health histories and record patient information.
• Perform EFDA duties including placement and contouring of restorative materials under supervision.
• Place sealants and apply fluoride treatments.
• Provide post-treatment instructions and patient education.
• Prepare operatories and turnover rooms between patients.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot clinical equipment as needed.
• Assist with dental laboratory case tracking and communication.
• Support inventory and supply management.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
