Imagen Dental Partners is seeking an EFDA to join a patient-focused private practice in Kentucky. The role involves welcoming patients, assisting the doctor, and maintaining a clean, efficient back-office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and orient them to the treatment room.
• Assist the doctor during procedures.
• Monitor lab materials and supplies; maintain sterilization standards.
• Take and mount dental radiographs; ensure high-quality imaging.
• Build rapport with patients and support the care team.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Potential for full-time hours if interested in working every other Sunday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working as a EFDA
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
