Job summary

North American Dental Group in Spring Hill, TN is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support clinicians, chart patient information, and help deliver high-quality care while adhering to state regulations.

We offer flexible hours with either full-time or part-time options. Compensation is hourly and varies by role and experience, with EFDA pay ranging from 27–32 per hour and DA from 22–28 per hour.

Qualifications

• EFDA Certification or on-the-job training required per state requirements.
• Radiography licensure as per state requirements.
• CPR Certification is required.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assists doctors including charting, placement of fillings, operatory setup/clean up, and patient education.
• Able to perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance.
• Assists in clinical procedures such as fillings, temporary crowns, sutures removal, and topical fluoride); limitations apply per state requirements.
• Records and reviews patient health history; notes in dental software.
• Enters and updates patient treatment plans as directed.

Seeking a talented EFDA or Dental Assistant to join our team, we are open to full time or part time, depending on what you are seeking

Hourly rates for both EFDA and DA:

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant- Depending on experience 27-32/an hour

Dental Assistant- Depending on experience 22-28/an hour

Smiling from Open to Close

Monday-Thursday 7 am - 4 pm

Responsibilities

Skills Required to Make a Great "Impression" on Our Team

• Assists doctors which includes but is not limited to charting, placement of fillings, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
• Able to perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance.
• Assists in clinical procedures and treatment such as: placing amalgam or composite fillings, adaptation of temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments. Limitations due apply per state requirements.
• Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Enters and updates patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating

Qualifications

• EFDA Certification or on the job training required per state requirements
• Radiography licensure for respective state requirements
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
• CPR Certification is required
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary
