Job summary

Maryland State Retirement and Pension System seeks an Equal Employment Opportunity and Outreach Director, a non-managerial role focused on establishing and overseeing the agency's EEO program and community outreach initiatives.

You will develop EEO policies, investigate complaints, conduct mandatory training, and collaborate with executive management to ensure compliance with federal and state EEO laws while supporting workforce development and talent recruitment strategies.

Qualifications

• Six years of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• Three years of EEO compliance experience (preferred).
• Three years of hands-on experience conducting workplace discrimination and harassment investigations (preferred).
• Knowledge of federal and state EEO laws including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA.
• Certified EEO Professional (EEOP), Certified EEO Investigator, or SHRM certification (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills and executive vision.
