Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center is seeking an EEG Technician or Technologist to join a growing EEG Department. The role involves performing routine, ambulatory, and continuous EEG as ordered by physicians, with opportunities for advancement within a three-person team.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of EEG experience, CPR certification, and EPIC experience, with an Associate's degree preferred. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position with variable shifts, including nights and overnights.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One year previous experience as an EEG Technologist or other clinical patient care experience required.
• Computer skills required; Hospital database (EPIC) preferred.
• Potential exposure to facility borne infection; PPE required.
• Must possess flexibility to attach electrodes and transport EEG equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, ambulatory EEG and continuous EEG as ordered by physicians.
• Follow policies and procedures outlined in Code of Conduct and Organizational Ethics.
