Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue, WA is expanding its EEG Department and seeking an EEG Technician or EEG Technologist to join a team of three with plans to grow. You will perform routine and ambulatory EEG and continuous EEG as ordered by physicians, interacting with inpatient, outpatient, and EMU patients.

The role requires CPR certification, EEG experience or registry eligibility for technologists, computer skills, and familiarity with EPIC.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; CPR certification required.
• One year experience as EEG technician or other clinical patient care.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Computer skills required; EPIC database preferred.
• Must be flexible attaching electrodes and transporting equipment.
• Registry eligibility for EEG Technologist; ABRET strongly preferred; must register within one year.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, ambulatory EEG and continuous EEG as ordered by physicians.
• Interact with inpatient, outpatient, and EMU patients; follow standard EEG procedures.
• Maintain records and billing procedures; order supplies/equipment.
