Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking an EEG Technologist to provide specialized neurodiagnostic testing and patient care within a dynamic hospital setting. The role supports a growing program under UHS with opportunities for professional development.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of EEG experience, graduate from an AMA approved EEG/Neurodiagnostic program, and may participate in a director-approved preceptor track for skill validation.

Qualifications

Experience and Education:

• Minimum of 1 year of full time experience as an EEG Technologist or equivalent.
• At the Director's discretion, new graduates may be placed in a preceptorship program until their skills are deemed competent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved program for EEG/Neurodiagnostic Technology.
• New graduates may be placed in a preceptor program at the discretion of the Director until the technologist is deemed competent.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Registration by the American Board of Registration, or CMET, American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technology (REEG.T, CMET, REPT, or REDT preferred.
