Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a qualified EEG technician to perform EEG studies, apply electrodes, and monitor EEGs in ICU and EMU settings. Proficiency with Natus XLTEK and artifact detection is preferred.

Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, educating patients about procedures, and coordinating with reading Epileptologist for timely analysis and interpretation according to ACNS guidelines.

Qualifications

• EEG testing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of International 10-20 measurement system.
• Experience with EEG machines and electrode placement.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG studies using the International 10-20 system and apply electrodes.
• Identify EEG patterns and artifacts; troubleshoot and correct artifacts.
• Monitor EEG studies in ICU and EMU settings following ACNS guidelines.
