Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking an EEG Technician Entry to support the EEG and EMU departments in the outpatient lab and at bedside. This transitional role provides close supervision and offers pathways toward more senior technologist positions.
Responsibilities include performing basic EEG procedures, assisting with equipment, ensuring patient safety, and documenting procedures following ABRET guidelines. The role is 0.5 FTE with two 10-hour shifts weekly in Colorado Springs.
The EEG Technician Entry provides beginner support to the EEG and EMU departments. Receives substantial oversight from a credentialed EEG Technologist or above, obtaining high quality, artifact-free neurodiagnostic studies on patients in the outpatient laboratory and or at the patient's bedside. This is a transitional position; more senior EEG Technologist Entry level roles with signed competencies may work independently under general technical supervision. Performs tasks in partnership with the care team to ensure patient comfort and safety while the patient is being evaluated.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Actively enrolled in or graduate of an ABRET recognized EEG training program.
Experience: Six months of experience in Electroneurodiagnostics including completion of clinicals.

Certification(s): BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR
Licensure(s): Board Eligible according to American Board of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) Pathways
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Hourly Range: $26.99 to $40.49
