Job description

Join the EEG Technologist Role at TieTalent

We are seeking an EEG Technologist to join M Health Fairview. The role involves performing non-invasive neurodiagnostic tests across all age groups, including EEGs, Evoked Potentials, Intraoperative Monitoring, and long-term video monitoring.

Schedule: Part-time (.8 FTE, 64 hours biweekly), working 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with some flexibility, including weekend and on-call rotations.

Location: Based at St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN, with travel to other hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assess and interpret intraoperative data in real-time.
  • Perform Evoke Potentials and other tests based on patient history and clinical findings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and provide patient education.
  • Stay current with professional developments and continuing education.
  • Collaborate with patients and team members to ensure quality care.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of neurodiagnostic experience; new graduates considered.
  • Certification by the American Society of Electro-neurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET).
  • Ability to demonstrate current basic life support certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 3 years of electrodiagnostic experience.
  • Additional certifications like CLTM.

Compensation: $31.91 - $46.10 hourly
