Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking an EEG Technician PRN to perform electro-neurodiagnostic tests across inpatients and outpatients, from neonates to adults. You will conduct EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and sleep-related studies under physician orders, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality electro-neurodiagnostic test services to inpatients and outpatients, neonate to adult, as ordered by a physician.
• Perform EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, telephone transmission EEGs, and multiple sleep latency EEGs.
• Record electrical activity of the patient’s brain to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders, and localizing lesions in the cerebrum.
• Perform Polysomnology testing including BIPAP/CPAP trials.
• Perform various clerical duties. Participate in CQI improvement activities.

As an EEG Technician at our facility you will be joining a team that is dedicated to serving others in need and also supporting one another. In this important role:

• You will be responsible for providing quality electro-neurodiagnostic test services to inpatients and outpatients, neonate to adult, as ordered by a physician.
• You will perform EEG’s, ambulatory EEG’s, telephone transmission EEG’s, and multiple sleep latency EEG’s. .
