Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an EEG Technician I for the Day Shift in Hartford, CT. The role involves performing and monitoring a full range of neurodiagnostic studies, including routine EEG, cEEG, EMU studies, inpatient/outpatient EEGs, and ambulatory EEG setups.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years EEG experience preferred and current EEG certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of EEG Tech experience preferred.
• Current EEG Technician certification preferred.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of EEG equipment and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate orally and enter data into a computer.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the administration of clinical tests to patients.
• Manages individual work flow to ensure completion of assignments.
• Demonstrates effective communication to facilitate the team concept.
• Assists with the administration of the EEG Lab.
