Job summary

North Memorial Health in Robbinsdale, MN seeks a qualified EEG Technician to operate neurodiagnostic equipment and assist in brain activity analysis. You’ll prepare patients, gather history, and support tests across age groups from neonates to geriatrics.

Minimum two years of healthcare or customer service experience is required; high school diploma or GED is essential. On-site role with full benefits and shift details provided in the posting.

  • Around 2 years of EEG technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate EEG equipment to measure and record brain activity.
  • Assist in analysis and interpretation of EEG tests.
  • Prepare patients and collect relevant historical information.
  • Care for customers across neonatal to geriatric populations.

About this position

Operates electroneurodiagnostic equipment which measures and records electrical activity of the brain; assisting in the analysis and diagnosis of disorders in the brain; for preparation of the customer and collection of historical information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests. The technician relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish their goals. Customers may include neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Requirements
Education
  • High school graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.
  • Successful completion of an accredited EEG program preferred
  • 2 years’ EEG Tech experience preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' health care or customer service experience required.
  • Previous intraoperative EEG experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic EEG concepts, practices and procedures.

Salary Range:N18 ($29.14 - $43.72), based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
