Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking an EEG Technician to operate electroneurodiagnostic equipment and support brain activity analysis for patients from neonates to geriatrics.

About This Position

Operates electroneurodiagnostic equipment which measures and records electrical activity of the brain; assisting in the analysis and diagnosis of disorders in the brain; for preparation of the customer and collection of historical information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests. The technician relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish their goals. Customers may include neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Requirements
Education
  • High school graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.
  • Successful completion of an accredited EEG program preferred
Experience

2 years’ EEG Tech experience preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years' health care or customer service experience required.
  • Previous intraoperative EEG experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic EEG concepts, practices and procedures.
Licensure/Certification
  • Current BLS Certification- NMHC Standard

Hours per two week pay period: 80

Shift: Days 8 hours

Weekend Requirement: Weekends by Department Rotation

Call Requirement: Off Premise Call

Remote or On-site: On-site

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Benefit Eligibility: Health insurance benefits are available for this position. North Memorial Health offers multiple health plans based on work group eligibility.

Salary Range: N18 ($29.14 - $43.72), based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.

Employment Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
