Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of neurophysiology, brain anatomy, and EEG principles.
• Skill in operating and maintaining EEG equipment and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• BLS certification required; Registry in a neurodiagnostic specialty preferred.
• All Associates must obtain required certifications within the designated time frame.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and evaluate EEG staff.
• Oversee staff evaluations, hiring, and discipline as needed.
• Schedule shifts and coordinate day-to-day department operations.
• Perform and supervise EEG testing, prepare patients, apply electrodes, operate equipment, and adjust protocols.
• Monitor quality assurance and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide patient and family support, ensuring tests are comfortable and safe.
• Assist with data entry, billing, and maintaining equipment.
