Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, is seeking a team member for performing neurodiagnostic testing in alignment with ACNS guidelines. You will prepare patients, perform procedures, ensure safety, and document data for physician interpretation.

The role requires a High School diploma (with some college preferred) and BLS certification, plus ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Night shift, full-time hours, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school grad or equivalent required.
• Some college or post-high school education preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Florida Level 2 background screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Learns and demonstrates procedures per ACNS guidelines and department policy.
• Prepares patients for testing using the International 10-20 system and hookup.
• Ensures patient safety and maintains professional, compassionate attitude.
• Performs quality recordings and data entry, collects patient history, and prepares recordings for physician interpretation.
• Notifies physician/supervisor of changes in patients' condition or abnormalities.
• Maintains supplies and equipment and ensures they are in good working condition.
• Documents procedures and accurately charges to meet department and hospital standards.
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and suggests process improvements.
• Follows infection control and safety standards and adheres to confidentiality requirements.
