AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Electroencephalography Technician to support neurological monitoring and diagnostic testing. You will perform EEG, Ambulatory EEG, LTM, and related studies, while documenting findings and communicating with patients and care teams.

Measures neurological responses to external stimuli and trace electrical pathways.
Scans, correlates, and clips studies accurately.
Observes EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
Explains testing procedures to patients and families using age-appropriate guidelines.
Performs studies with appropriate documentation, observes patients, troubleshoots equipment and physiological artifacts, and utilizes appropriate resources.
Evaluates recorded diagnostic data and reports abnormal findings to nurses and physicians.
Recognizes and takes appropriate actions to respond to evolving patient care needs.
Teaches and directs the work of other staff and students as requested.
Maintains diagnostic testing equipment and supplies.
Conducts long‑term monitoring in epilepsy and intensive/critical care units.
Monitors patients in Epilepsy Monitoring Units (EMUs) while adhering to protocols and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Maintains accurate archive and retrieval systems for original EEG tracings.
Attends monthly staff meetings and other meetings as requested.
High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
2+ experience in performance of procedures in a patient care environment [Required]
