Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced EEG Technician to monitor patients in Epilepsy Monitoring Units and perform long‑term EEG studies. The role requires accurate data interpretation, patient communication, and adherence to ACNS and AANEM guidelines.

Shift: Night, Mon/Tue/Wed; 10k sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates plus relocation assistance. You will mentor staff, maintain diagnostic equipment, and participate in monthly meetings while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in performing EEG procedures in patient care.
• REEGT or ABRET preferred; CPR/BLS required.
• Must read/write English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate EEG and EMU monitoring with proper documentation.
• Explain procedures to patients and families.
• Mentor staff and students as requested.
• Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.
• Participate in monthly staff meetings.
