Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform high-quality neurodiagnostic procedures following ACNS guidelines under minimal supervision. You will prepare patients, apply electrodes, and adjust testing to reflect patient needs, enabling physicians to interpret studies.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to solve problems using basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
• Detail oriented with efficient computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and with physicians, co-workers and clinical staff.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality neurodiagnostic procedures according to policy and procedure.
• Prepare patient for testing.
• Provide direct patient care and support as directed by patient need.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and participate in mandatory programs.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete; perform clerical tasks as needed.
• Utilize effective communication with physicians, staff and the public.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
