Job summary

Qualifications

• EEG technician experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited electroneurodiagnostic program preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification; other certifications as required in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Applies electrodes and sensors per published professional standards for EEG testing.
• Schedules patient testing in the Neuro Diagnostic Department and processes data entries.
• Documents observations and procedures to assist physician interpretation.
• Maintains data integrity and completes calibration of equipment.
• Ensures patient safety and provides patient orientation to the department.
