Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, seeks a Neurodiagnostic Supervisor for the Electroencephalography lab. The role supervises staff, coordinates daily EEG operations, and maintains competency across complex procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include scheduling, policy development, accreditation support, budgeting, vendor liaison, and training of personnel.

Required: R. EEG T., 3 years in Neurodiagnostics, and a CAAHEP- or equivalent program; relocation support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biology, physiology, psychology, or a related field.
Graduate of a Neurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by CAAHEP or equivalent training.
3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics including EEG, Evoked Potentials, Epilepsy, PSG, and TCDs.
Preferred: 2+ years in a supervisory capacity.
Required: Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) credential – ABRET.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the staff and daily operations of the EEG department.
Coordinate, develop, and implement departmental policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, policies, and regulations in EEG testing.
Maintain equipment and troubleshoot or coordinate repairs as needed.
Liaise with vendors and hospital staff; manage equipment used in daily operations.
Train personnel on technical procedures; participate in accreditation processes.
