Job summary

Duke Health's Neurodiagnostic Lab in Durham, NC seeks a Supervisor to manage EEG department operations and staff, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. The role is in-person with occasional travel to other Duke sites.

You will supervise scheduling, maintain competencies for EEG/epilepsy monitoring, and coordinate policies while liaising with hospital teams. A Bachelor's in a related field and 3 years neurodiagnostics experience are required.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in biology, physiology, psychology, or a related field.
• Preferred: Graduate of a Neurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by CAAHEP or equivalent formal training.
• Required: 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics including EEG, Evoked Potentials, Epilepsy, PSG, and TCDs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the staff and daily operations of the EEG department.
• Supervise and coordinate the schedule for the group, ensuring proper distribution of assignments, adequate staffing, space, and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
• Maintain competencies for a variety of complex specialized procedures including EEG and epilepsy monitoring.
• Coordinate, develop, and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, policies, procedures, and regulations in EEG testing.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot; submit tickets for repairs as needed.
• Utilize and maintain familiarity with Natus equipment (or similar).
• Liaise with medical staff and other hospital personnel; assist budgetary and capital planning.
