Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks a neurodiagnostic technologist to perform EEG and NCV exams for patients of all ages under a neurologist's guidance. The role emphasizes accurate testing, data recording, and reliable quality control in a hospital/ambulatory setting.

The associate degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology is required; BCLS certification must be current or obtained within 3 months. Day rotation with 0800–1630 shifts, weekends/holidays on rotation; compensation range is $29.14–$43.34

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Neurodiagnostic Technology.
• Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months from date of hire.
• Previous EEG/NCV experience in acute hospital or ambulatory care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for tests and explains procedures to patients and families.
• Determines testing extent and records data for physician interpretation.
• Assists with analysis and interpretation of neurodiagnostic tests.
• Maintains quality control and calibration per regulatory standards.
• Calibrates and operates EEG/EMG equipment and maintains instruments.
