Job summary

Synthesys Brain Health is seeking a Field EEG Technologist/Technician for Full-Time or Per Diem opportunities in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. The role requires daily travel to patients' homes and clinical sites to deploy ambulatory and video EEG monitoring equipment, bringing diagnostic services directly to patients in need.

You will perform EEG procedures in accordance with our policies, maintain patient safety, document results, and collaborate with care teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on EEG setup and monitoring experience.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Solid computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Familiarity with EEG terminology, waveforms, and recording parameters.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG procedures following Synthesys Brain Health policies and International 10–20 system.
• Travel daily to patients' homes and clinical sites to deploy and manage ambulatory and video EEG monitoring equipment.
• Maintain patient safety and communicate with care staff.
• Correlate patient history and clinical symptoms to EEG findings.
• Assist with neonatal/pediatric EEG protocols and interpret basic patterns.
• Complete EEG reporting and patient logging per policy.
• Prepare EEG rooms/sites and coordinate equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to HIPAA practices and infection control.
