The University of Kansas invites applications for Supplemental Student Instructors in the EECS department for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. This pool position is hourly and non-exempt, with duties including holding office hours, help sessions, answering student questions, and assisting instructors during class.
Applicants must be current EECS students, have earned a B or better in the course you will assist, and maintain a KU GPA of 3.0.

100% - Duties include assisting with various EECS courses. Assistance includes holding office hours, conducting help sessions, answering student questions, helping course instructors during class periods, course development, and other assistance as needed.
The position will be terminated if KU GPA falls below the required minimum of 3.0.
Student employees are not eligible for remote work arrangements unless an exception is approved by the unit leadership and HR. This is an hourly/non-exempt position. A student employee cannot hold an hourly/non-exempt position and a salaried/exempt graduate or undergraduate position (GRA/GTA/GA/RUA/RGA) concurrently.

PLEASE INCLUDE THE COURSE NUMBER AND NAME (e.g., EECS 388 EMBEDDED SYSTEMS). This is a POOL position to hire multiple Supplemental Instructors. Application review begins immediately.
