Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking casual OSHC educators to support school-aged children at St Patrick's OSHC. The role offers flexible shifts across Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, with opportunities to engage in recreational and educational activities.

Candidates should have a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or be willing to work toward it, hold a current Blue Card, and bring a genuine passion for play-based learning and building positive relationships

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or willingness to work towards it.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Genuine passion for working with primary school-aged children.
• Understanding of NQF, My Time Our Place, Early Years Learning Framework or willingness to learn.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and teamwork.

What You’ll Bring

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, or willingness to work towards a qualification, is desirable but not essential. Equivalent qualifications recognised by ACECQA are also welcome.
• A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• A genuine passion for working with primary school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• An understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place, the Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant legislation, or a willingness to learn.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team.
