Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking enthusiastic Casual Educators to join St Patrick's OSHC. The role offers flexible, casual shifts across multiple services, supporting before/after school and vacation care for children aged up to 12.

You will help create a safe, engaging environment and participate in excursions and planned activities. Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent) and a current Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services is desirable.
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is required.
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and early years standards is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team.

What You’ll Bring

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, or willingness to work towards a qualification, is desirable but not essential. Equivalent qualifications recognised by ACECQA are also welcome.
• A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• A genuine passion for working with primary school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• An understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place, the Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant legislation, or a willingness to learn.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team.
