Job summary

Daystar Academy seeks a Technology Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, operation, monitoring, and evaluation of the school’s technology program. The role installs, maintains, and upgrades hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems, while training staff for effective use of technology in instruction and administration.

Collaborating with administration, teachers, and office staff, the coordinator will ensure alignment with instructional technology plans and state guidelines,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware, software and peripherals.
• Understanding of LAN setup and maintenance.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of the school technology program.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer hardware, software, networks and peripherals.
• Provide staff training on technology competencies.
• Collaborate with administration, teachers and staff to integrate technology.
• Oversee technology assets and budgeting.
