Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana in Indianapolis is seeking an Educational Technologist to support faculty, staff, and students in the use of the LMS and educational technology across modalities. This role blends technical duties with best-practice pedagogy to enhance student success.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree (Bachelor’s preferred), higher education experience, and experience with LMS platforms like Canvas, Blackboard, and Brightspace.

Qualifications

• Requires at least an Associate Degree; a Bachelor’s is preferred.
• Experience in higher education is preferred.
• Successful completion of Quality Matters APPQMR and PRC is preferred and may be required for development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver educational technology professional development across modalities.
• Support faculty with technology tools, pedagogy, and LMS use.
• Ensure accessibility standards and student accommodations within the LMS.
• Facilitate faculty training courses in LMS and online modalities.
• Support onboarding for LMS and educational technology for faculty and students.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of knowledge base for educational technology.
