Responsibilities
- Support students with varying needs in grades K‑4 within special education and general education settings.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to meet academic, social‑emotional, functional, and pre‑vocational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of curriculum aligned with state standards and evidence‑based programs.
Qualifications
- Maine State Education Technician III Certification (023 or 025).
- Experience working with diverse learners in special education settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
