Watch Me Shine in Bangor, ME is seeking an Ed Tech / Deep Cleaner to support classroom teaching and assist with interventions while also performing daily cleaning duties around the school. The schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday from 9am to 2pm (with 2–4pm deep cleaning).

The team emphasizes thorough data tracking, documentation, and collaboration with therapists and teachers to help children reach their potential.

Formación

• Experience is preferred but Watch Me Shine is willing to train the right applicant.
• Candidates must pass an extensive criminal background check.

Responsabilidades

• Assist classroom teacher with curriculum and interventions established by the treatment team.
• Work one-on-one with students in a classroom setting.
• Support the classroom and teacher with assigned duties including preparation and coordination of interventions.
• Document daily progress and track data accurately.
• Assist therapists with in-classroom interventions as directed by the team.
• Perform daily classroom cleaning to maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Support operations with cleaning projects and responsibilities.

Ed Tech / Deep Cleaner Role

Essential Functions Of The Role

• The Ed Tech will work closely with a classroom teacher to implement curriculum and interventions established by the treatment team.
• The Ed Tech will work one-on-one with students in a classroom setting.
• Ed Tech will be assigned specific duties to support the classroom and the classroom teacher.
• Ed Tech’s work 1:1 with children implementing instruction, taking accurate data, and supporting the classroom teacher with various duties such as preparation, coordination, and implementation of interventions.
• Ed Tech’s support therapists in their classrooms and wrap around interventions as suggested by therapist and classroom teacher.
• Daily documentation and tracking are important elements of the job.
• The deep cleaner will perform daily classroom cleanings to ensure a clean and professional, clean, and organized work environment. (i.e. wipe down of classroom tables and chairs, vacuum and wash classroom rugs, dusting ledges in all rooms, clean baseboards, clean mats, therapy balls, and ball pits).
• The deep cleaner will support the operations specialist with projects and cleaning responsibilities.

Environmental Factors

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat
• Most of the work is done at the school, indoors and outdoors

• Regularly lift and/or move objects or equipment (up to 50 lbs.) including bending, stooping, stretching, squatting, pushing and pulling, and sitting and walking.
• Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Qualifications

• At least 90 college credits
• Experience is preferred but Watch Me Shine is willing to train the right applicant.
