Watch Me Shine in Bangor, ME is seeking a compassionate Classroom Teacher to support early intervention programs and student progress. You will plan lessons, supervise paraprofessionals, and collaborate with school staff to deliver high-quality services.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and the ability to pass a background check. Training is provided for the right candidate; caring for children and families remains central to our mission.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Experience is preferred but Watch Me Shine is willing to train the right applicant.
Candidates must pass an extensive criminal background check.

Mansioni

Planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
Providing daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of activities.
Develop and implement physical education activities and exercises for students.
Monitor and assess student's physical development and progress.
Provide individualized instruction and support for students.
Oversee, support, and train paraprofessionals working in the gym classroom.
Ensuring equipment and the facility are clean, well maintained, and safe always
