Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking an Educational Technician (Child Development) to provide specialized developmental care and instruction for children in the CDC, roughly aged 6 months through 5 years. The incumbent may supervise a designated classroom and may be the supervisor on duty when the CDC Director is not in the facility.
The position requires designing developmentally appropriate activity plans, monitoring each child's progress, and leading junior staff on program activities.
SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to provide appropriate, specialized developmental care and instruction for children in the Child Development Center (CDC). In addition, performs basic oversight and supervision for a designated classroom for ages 6 months through 5 years. The incumbent may be designated as the supervisor on duty, as needed, whenever the Child Development Center (CDC) Director is not physically in the facility.
DUTIES: Designs, implements, and evaluates developmentally appropriate activity plans that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Observes and evaluates each child's health, behavior, and developmental progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting findings in accordance with program requirements.
Prepares and implements specialized programs for children with special needs, including those with behavioral challenges, learning disabilities, or advanced abilities. Provides technical guidance and leadership to junior employees assisting with program activities and participates in special projects as assigned.

The posted pay range is $34799 – $62057/yr.
