Job summary

Qualifications

• Passing score on the Para Pro Test or 48 college credits.
• Associated Degree required; a Bachelor's is preferred.
• Willingness to follow directions and cooperate with all staff.
• Prefer prior experience with children in a school setting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Computer literacy and ability to use assistive technology.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision to implement instructional activities aligned with IEPs.
• Support students with academics, social skills, self-care, and vocational tasks.
• Provide positive role models and reinforce classroom expectations.
• Assist with behavior support and data collection as instructed.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists in planning and delivering lessons.
• Perform non-instructional duties including supervision and testing support.
• Utilize online platforms (Google Meet/Classroom) in person and virtually.
• Participate in onboarding and professional development activities.
