Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking an Educational Support Professional to assist teaching staff and students in the classroom, focusing on instructional support and fostering a positive learning environment.

You will support students' academic and social-emotional needs, supervise in large and small groups, and help with reading and math data and assessments. Start ASAP; 6-hour days on a part-time schedule through 11/20/2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bargaining unit: Educational Support Professionals.
• Background checks required and standard district process.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

• Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
• Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
• Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
• Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
• Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math.
• Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.

Minimum qualifications include:

Salary: Classification 2; View salary grid on the respective bargaining unit listed above, accessible via our Employee Contracts page

Work schedule: 10/5/2026 – 11/20/2026. Monday through Friday. Start/End dates can be adjusted if the student evaluation process ends before 11/20/26.

FTE: 6 hours per day
