Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff in written and oral form.
• Follow oral and written instructions accurately and reliably.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding staff and student information.
• Bilingual in Spanish, English, or other languages as specified by administration.
• Work in a team environment and supervise students as needed.
• Assist with students with disabilities or learning needs under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing learning experiences.
• Confer with teachers to provide feedback on student performance and testing activities.
• Assist in instruction of students in group or one-on-one settings to achieve IEP goals.
• Provide for identified physical needs of students such as toileting and feeding.
• Monitor classroom management and enforce district discipline procedures.
