Talent Acquisition Recruiter at Encyclopaedia Britannica

About the Company: Britannica Education is a division of the Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc., a global knowledge leader whose flagship products inspire curiosity and joy of learning. A pioneer in digital learning, the company today serves the needs of students, lifelong learners, and professionals through our classroom and curriculum products, language-learning platforms, and professional learning services.

About the Role: As a Educational Solutions Architect at Britannica Education, you will act as a strategic curriculum advisor and sales support partner, focused specifically on Social Studies and Science content. Your role is to help districts and schools unlock the full potential of Britannica’s rich, research-based resources by aligning them to instructional priorities and learning outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams to design custom curriculum solutions for new prospects and existing partners. With a deep understanding of instructional design and K–12 standards—particularly in Social Studies and Science—you will support sales conversations, contribute to strategic proposals, facilitate presentations, and guide product usage in real-world classrooms.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with Sales on high-stakes presentations, pilots, and proposals focused on Social Studies and Science solutions.
  • Develop and deliver customized demos and curriculum consultations that highlight alignment to state standards, as well as district and school goals.
  • Design and maintain use-case frameworks and curriculum maps that integrate Britannica’s content into classroom instruction.
  • Translate educator and administrator feedback into actionable improvements for sales materials, training support, and product development.
  • Monitor shifts in instructional priorities (e.g., inquiry-based learning, DEI, digital literacy) to inform solution design and positioning.
  • Contribute to pilot success by supporting early implementation plans and setting clear success metrics with clients.
  • Travel is expected to meet customers in person and attend industry events. Travel to company headquarters in Chicago, Illinois also.

Requirements:

  • You have 3+ years of teaching experience in Social Studies and/or Science, ideally with curriculum development or coaching responsibilities.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field or higher.
  • You’ve led or contributed to the design of instructional materials or digital learning frameworks in Social Studies or Science.
  • You understand NGSS, C3 Framework, and state-specific standards, and know how to build curriculum aligned with them.
  • You’ve partnered with or supported educators in a pre-sales, professional learning, or edtech role.
  • You can confidently present to district leaders, curriculum directors, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
