Qualifications

• Valid Washington Sign Language Interpreter certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken language into sign language for students, teachers, and staff during classes and events.
• Ensure accurate, impartial, and confidential communication at all times.
• Support instructional goals across varied subjects and age groups (primarily K-12).
• Collaborate with educators to promote student engagement and inclusion.
• Maintain logs and documentation as required by school policies.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into sign language (and vice versa) for students, teachers, and school staff during classes, assemblies, and school events
• Ensure accurate, impartial, and confidential communication at all times
• Support instructional goals, adapting to different classroom subjects and age groups (primarily K-12)
• Collaborate closely with educators to promote student engagement and inclusion
• Maintain logs and documentation as required by school policies
