Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter for a 1:1 role with a high school student for the 2026-2027 school year. The position runs Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm, in a K-12 educational setting, providing communication access and in-class support.

Responsibilities

• Interpret classroom discussions, instructions, and activities for a high school student.
• Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and peers.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to best practices for educational interpreters.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and support professionals as needed.
• Support the student’s participation in extracurricular or school-sponsored events during assigned hours.
