Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) in Hawaii is hiring to manage the academic programs at the Hawaii Job Corps Center in Makawao. The role focuses on compliance with government and management directives, with opportunities to influence curricula and instructional materials.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in education (or related field), 3 years of experience including supervisory duties, and a valid driver’s license.

• Three years related experience, two of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor departmental budget and control expenditure; review and recommend budget changes.
• Maintain effective team collaboration between academic programs for new students and staff.
• Prepare reports for area of responsibility.
• Direct program changes; evaluate and develop curricula, instructional materials, methods and techniques.
• Coordinate and provide oversight of the CTST program and CTST plan development; monitor CTST projects.
