Job summary

Children’s Harbor is seeking an Educational Program Coordinator who is passionate about working with youth and excited about strengthening educational programming across the organization.

You’ll collaborate with staff and leadership, track outcomes, and turn data into actionable reports for leadership and funders, while supporting CQI, compliance, and policy development to ensure durable program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Social Work, or related field required.
• At least three years of experience in educational programming, quality improvement, nonprofit program coordination, or related area.
• Experience with underserved, transitional-age, or at‑risk youth strongly preferred.
• Experience with CQI, grant reporting, compliance, policies and procedures, or educational funding is valuable.

We are looking for an Educational Program Coordinator who is passionate about working with youth and young adults and excited about helping us strengthen and expand our educational programming across Children’s Harbor and Brown’s Harbor.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being both hands-on with young people and behind the scenes building strong programs. You’ll work directly with youth, collaborate with staff and leadership, track outcomes, and help us create educational experiences that are engaging, measurable, and meaningful.

What You’ll Do

As our Educational Program Coordinator, you will serve as a bridge between our main campus Learning Center and Brown’s Harbor, helping ensure our young people receive consistent, high-quality educational support across programs.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Support youth and young adults with academics, educational goals, organization, and skill development.
• Help develop and expand educational programming specifically designed for transitional-age young adults.
• Build relationships with young people and encourage participation, engagement, and progress toward their goals.
• Conduct educational assessments and use the results to help develop individualized learning plans.
• Work closely with the Brown’s Harbor Director, Learning Center staff, residential teams, and organizational leadership.
• Track educational progress and program outcomes so we can understand what is working and where we can improve.
• Help build and maintain our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process for educational programming.
• Turn program data into meaningful reports and recommendations for leadership and funders.
• Support grant reporting, compliance, audits, and documentation.
• Help develop and strengthen educational policies, procedures, and systems that support long‑term program success.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Candidates should have at least three years of experience in educational programming, quality improvement, nonprofit program coordination, or a related area. Experience working with underserved, transitional-age, or at‑risk youth is strongly preferred
• Experience with educational assessments, CQI, grant reporting, compliance, policies and procedures, or educational funding is also valuable for this role.
