Job summary

Hamilton County ESC in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Chief Operations Officer to guide internal operations and organizational systems, aligning departments and strengthening processes to fulfill HCESC's mission and strategic goals.

The COO will oversee internal communications, marketing, HR, technology, and professional learning, partnering across functions to drive efficiency and responsiveness in a complex educational services organization.

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid Ohio Superintendent License or Ohio Administrative License.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in human resources, business management, organizational operations, educational administration, or related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership for internal operations and organizational systems.
Align departments, strengthen internal processes, and ensure operational capacity to meet HCESC goals.
Oversee internal communications, marketing, human resources, technology, and professional learning.
Coordinate cross-department initiatives and partner with the Chief Educational Solutions Officer.
