Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Educational Facility Access Control in Brooklyn, NY. You will monitor entrances, assist students and staff, and maintain campus security with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include upholding access control, patrolling premises, and responding to incidents per school procedures. Valid NYS Security Guard License and at least 1 year of security experience are required; full-time schedule with daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY State Security Guard License.
• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and families while following security procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per school procedures to maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Document observations and communicate information to school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
