Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Educational Diagnostician to assess student needs and advocate for appropriate resources. The role focuses on psycho-educational evaluations and clear communication with families and staff.

You will develop evidence-based interventions and collaborate with teams to support student access to education. ARD participation and family engagement are key parts of the position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.
• A current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility and need for services.
• Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear communication.
• Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to ensure programs meet students' needs.
