Candor Consulting & Diagnostics seeks an Educational Diagnostician to assess students, determine eligibility for services, and advocate for resources that support success. You will identify needs and help teams secure appropriate supports within a collaborative environment.

You’ll conduct psycho-educational evaluations, discuss findings with families and staff, and work with ARD teams to ensure effective programs. This role emphasizes student-centered planning and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or equivalent.
• Current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Your Role:

• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Support Team: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure special education programs meet every student’s needs effectively.
